Pre-K

Children qualifying for the class must be four years of age by September 1, 2025. Students must be residents of Cayuga I.S.D. As established by the Texas Education Agency, children who qualify for pre-kindergarten services must meet at least one of the following criteria:

the child’s parent is an active duty member of the armed forces; or
the child’s family is eligible for the federal lunch program; or
the child is unable to speak or comprehend the English language; or
the child is homeless; or
the child is in, or has been in, the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) following an adversary hearing.
