CMS News is a special privilege class at Cayuga Middle School, offered to students who have demonstrated mastery on the STAAR test.

 

As part of the CMS News team, students get to experience the exciting world of journalism and broadcasting. They research and write engaging articles, capture photos and videos of school events, and learn firsthand how a professional news broadcast works. This hands-on opportunity allows students to build their creativity, teamwork, and communication skills—all while having fun sharing the stories that matter most to our school community.
